Hello, I am Liam
I work as a project manager. I’m a parent and an expat based in Toronto, Canada.
A few years back I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually turned into a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Began
Moving to Canada wasn’t part of our long-range plan. Like many international relocations, it started with a job opportunity and soon evolved into something much bigger.
The initial months were demanding — fresh systems, new routines, new expectations. Everyday tasks felt more complicated than expected.
The Adjustment Period
We faced culture shock, uncertainty, and a lot of learning by doing. Yet gradually, routines began to take shape. We discovered places that suited us, connected with other families, and started building something that felt secure.
Why I Created Marble Harbor Flow
Online information tended to be either corporate relocation guidance or shallow tourism content. What was missing was a genuine, everyday family perspective.
This site aims to bridge that gap — practical advice drawn from real life in Canada.
What This Site Does (And Doesn't)
This site is:
- Hands-on experience from living in Canada
- Centered on family life and daily realities
- Updated when there is a genuine change
This site isn't:
- An official tourism authority resource
- A sponsored-review platform
- A generic travel blog
Looking Forward
Our time in Canada goes on, and so does the learning journey. As long as the information remains useful, I’ll continue documenting what we discover.
If you have questions about family life in Toronto or anywhere in Canada, please feel free to get in touch.
Best wishes,
Liam
